Nestling between the Maures and Estérel Hills, in a valley criss-crossed with rivers and streams, Les Cigales is the ideal base for many exciting riding (stables on site) canoeing (centre at 2 km), cycling and walking itineraries. It is also within easy reach of the Riviera coast, Haut Var inland country and Verdon Canyon.

The Var region is an infinite source of treasures! Featuring a Wine Route, Heritage Route, magnificent inland country scattered with ancient villages and a breathtaking Mediterranean coastal footpath, the Var is one of France's richest and most strikingly-contrasted regions. Just off the beaten track, visitors can enjoy discovering a treasure trove of heritage sights and delicious produce elaborated using traditional, environmentally-friendly techniques. The Var is also home to the unforgettable scenery of Provence as described by Pagnol and Giono.

Outdoor sports fans and simple strollers will love discovering the nearby Maures, Estérel and Sainte Baume hills, plus the exceptional Verdon Canyon.
Les Cigales is open from early April to late September, so you can make the most of the Var from spring through to autumn.

Our campsite is "Clef Verte" eco-certified in recognition of our efficient water management, eco-constructions, environmental awareness efforts, organic shop and promotion of fair trade. We are also an official LPO French Bird Protection League refuge. Les Cigales is a genuine country-style campsite: our camping spots are individually designed to blend into the surrounding scenery and feature little terraces, wooded areas or sunny plateaus. All have private boundaries for extra tranquillity.

Throughout the seasons, guests can enjoy our two pools (one heated), tennis court, sports ground, table tennis, three children's play areas and trampolines.

Summer amenities include a bar, restaurant and snack bar.

During off-season periods, guests can relax and get to know each other at "Le Cercle" – an entirely self-managed social venue including a fitted kitchen, library, games library, wood stove and free wireless Internet access.
